Toyota Prius User guides and Car Manual

When Toyota Motor Corporation released the Toyota Prius in the United States in 2001, hybrid vehicles had not yet taken over the public imagination. Following a 2004 redesign and record gas prices in the summer of 2008, the Prius quickly became a popular sight on U.S. highways. By late 2009, more than half of all Prius sales were to U.S. customers.

Prius owners have been nearly universally positive about the Japanese hybrid vehicle, praising its performance, style, and impressive fuel economy. However, some owners have also reported concerns about Prius battery replacement and about the clarity of the owner's manual.
Clarity Issues with Documentation

Critics of the owner's manual for the Prius report that it is full of useful information but is poorly organized and difficult to read. Most complaints specifically pertain to the 2005 and 2006 model years of the Toyota Prius, and it seems likely that the issues of documentation clarity have been resolved for subsequent model years.

If you've lost your Prius owner's manual, you can obtain another one from your Toyota dealer. You can either go to the place you purchased your vehicle or find a dealer near you by using the Toyota's Dealer Locator
